What is a Short Code?
Short codes are dedicated 5–6 digit codes built for the highest-volume, highest-throughput campaigns.
Our team will assist your organization in applying for, and securing a random or "vanity" short code. Message rates step down with volume, and the code itself is billed monthly on quarterly or annual terms.

Random or Vanity
Short code numbers must be ordered and are not available for selection. Our team applies for and secures the code once your campaign is approved. We may not be able to get the exact code you want, and we'll ask permission before purchasing if it's not the code you requested.
Price Your Code Before You Ask for It
Random codes are $1,000 a month, vanity codes $1,500, and a code you already lease yourself $500. Monthly fees are billed quarterly or annually, with a discount for paying the year upfront. Purchase includes a one-time setup fee of $1,000 and a $500 MMS enablement fee.
SMS and MMS, One Recipient at a Time
Short Code includes SMS and MMS. The routes are the ones you already use — POST /message/sms and POST /message/mms — with the code as the senderPhoneNumber, and each message goes to exactly one recipient.
The Application, Written for You
You pick the subgroup, brand, use cases, message frequency, pricing tier, and opt-in methods. The platform writes the application the carrier reads — Campaign Information, Message Flow, Opt-In Experience, and Standardized Messages — all ending in the same disclosure.

Message Rates That Step Down With Volume
SMS starts at $0.0065 per message pay as you go and steps down by volume to $0.0030 at 10M+ messages a month. MMS is $0.0200 per message, or $0.015 at 500K+. All rates are negotiable based on volume and agreement terms.
