We understand how critical nesting your information in the proper place is, that’s why we’ve created a flexible, easy way to categorize your data; a “Group” and “Sub-group”

As the image above illustrates, a “Group” can be thought of as an organization. I.e., if 123Insurance were to begin sending traffic through Signal House (and they should! 😄), all of their associated team members and traffic would be within their “Group.”

Each group is given a unique identifier so Signal House teammates can easily differentiate between them, and your organization’s Group will automatically be generated once sign-up is complete.

Within each group, you’re able to create n-number of Sub-Groups (i.e., as many as you’d like).

How you leverage sub-groups is entirely up to your organization and its needs!

Some companies split up Sub-Groups as different business units (Sales, Marketing, Support, etc.), while others (who are CRMs/marketing platforms) segment their Sub-Groups as individual customers (Customer A, Customer B, Customer C).

Example Group and Sub-Group Hierarchy:

Within your Signal House portal, you’ll then have the ability to assign specific numbers, brands, and campaigns to a given Sub-Group (note, each number, brand, and campaign can only be assigned to one Sub-Group at a time).

This can seamlessly be completed when going through the porting process, configuring a number, creating a new brand/campaign, etc. directly in-platform, and with our API connections.

Moreover, you’re easily able to filter every available analytic by Sub-Group as well, enabling visibility into metrics that matter to you 👍🏼.

Step-by-Step

  1. Register for Signal House and BOOM 💥 your “Group” is created
  2. Create Sub-Groups based on the organizational needs of your company (be it a Sub-Group for each business unit, a Sub-Group for each Customer on your platform, whatever you need!)
  3. Create or assign existing Brands to a given Sub-Group
  4. Assign Numbers to a given Sub-Group

Note, when a Brand is assigned to a given Sub-Group, the Campaigns nested under that Brand, and any numbers assigned to that Campaign will automatically be nested under that Sub-Group 👍🏼

FAQ

“Can my company have multiple groups?”

By design, we only natively support one group per organization. You’re able to create n-number Sub-Groups and can assign specific numbers, brands, and campaigns to a given subgroup

  • That said, there are very limited instances where we can support multiple groups (an example would be a shell company with multiple DBAs, each DBA having distinct customers/business groups).
    • This is setup by request, but should really only be utilized in limited circumstances
